Spanish mortgages are normally available for the
purchase, renovation & construction of a property. Due
to the nature of financing new properties a "letter of
intent" is issued by lenders rather than a mortgage
offer until the property is completed. The amount of the
mortgage is based on your ability to service the
repayments & on the value applied to the property via a
survey and not the agreed price.
Mortgages are available through
Spanish
Banks but the interest rates will be applied as the Euro
zone and not the Bank of England.
Mortgages are normally available up
to 80% of the valuation subject to the condition of the
building.
