Property for sale in the El Golfo villas, apartments, hotels & bars

Although El Golfo is not close to the resorts of Lanzarote the area is still a popular destination for getaway holidays and offers a good investment as the property is still cheaper than the main areas.

Follow the road to the end turn RIGHT follow the road into the village,

On the LEFT is a car park to access an emerald green lake produced by the volcanic eruptions of 1736 to 1824 the volcanic creator is set away from the sea and stays full even at low tide the color is produced by chemicals found in the soil here,

From here you can drive in to the village to the end of the village there is parking but you need to get here early as the restaurants are popular and become full quickly.

A selection of fish caught that morning by the fisherman of the village is presented on a large platter by the serving staff, with an explanation of the different fish and how it will be cooked and served to you, with great wine EL GOLFO can make for a long luxurious lunch.

Exiting the village of EL GOLFO follow the road to the left around the high volcanic rock formation and to the left again, here a path gives access via foot to the beach with its astonishing volcanic immensity and green lake.

Continue along the road the traveler will encounter an astonishing natural structure manipulated by the imagination of the tourist designers to turn solidified laver funnels into a volcanic maze leading up and down to caves filling with sea water producing immense formations being forced into the structure by the tide.

Continuing on the coast the traveler will view the landmark of the salt flats were the people of Lanzarote have collected the sea salt from the ancestral beginnings to the present day collection,

From this point the traveler can continue on to Playa Blanca or via the main road travel back to Yaiza.
